Discount Auto Parts promotes its Cordele grand opening in c. 1994, an ad that mentions its smattering of other Georgia locations in Brunswick, Fort Valley, Douglas, Vidalia, Hinesville, St. Marys, Thomasville, Bainbridge and Waycross.
The Discount Auto Parts chain was bought out by Advance Auto Parts in 2001. The building housing Cordele’s Discount location has long since closed, but the building is still recognizable as such.
